CarneySweeney led the planning project management of this important regeneration project set alongside one of Birmingham's most important Conservation Areas.
On behalf of Mercia Real Estate, we secured planning consent for the reuse of former HSBC offices for the creation of a standalone student accommodation and hotel building. This makes use of the existing building structures, and includes the addition of new storeys to the existing buildings. The proposal will also see the delivery of Birmingham's newest urban square.
