CarneySweeney secured planning permission for a 47 storey residential development on Broad Street in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.  The Essington will provide 525 residential units including internal and external residential amenity space and a 'pocket park' to improve the quality of public realm along Broad Street.  CarneySweeney provided planning consultancy from pre-application through to resolution to grant, preparing a supporting Planning Statement and Tall Building Assessment and leading negotiations with the local planning authority.
