Queensgate Square, Birmingham

CarneySweeney acted as planning agent to provide 125 residential apartments of one, two and three bedrooms in two 15 storey and 7 storey buildings set around a shared communal courtyard garden on Suffolk Street Queensway in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, a short walk from New Street Train Station.  

On behalf of The Riverlow Group, we secured planning consent on this vacant, constrained brownfield site and the proposed development will see the delivery of much needed homes (including 10.4% three bed, family sized apartments) and affordable homes, a biodiversity net gain well in excess of 10%, a design which respects the nearby heritage assets and overall provides a number of public benefits.
